Pharmacoeconomic Evaluation of Diabetic Drugs in China Supported by Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holding Limited

该项目旨在开展对口服降糖药进行药物经济学评价。基于前瞻性研究设计，对自然状态下的2型糖尿病患者进行大样本、不干预的跟踪调查。通过对患者的基本信息、经济成本和健康产出的收集和测算，对目前市场上常用的口服糖尿病药物进行系统的药物经济学评价，从而对患者合理用药起到指导作用，为政府、医疗机构等部门制定政策提供参考依据。该研究是中国对治疗重大慢病的药物使用进行系统成本效益分析的探索，对中国开展药物经济学研究具有重要意义。

The Project aims to conduct economic evaluation of numerous Oral Anti-diabetes Drugs (OAD) in China. Using a prospective study design, this research follows a large sample of patients with type 2 diabetes in real world and examines the cost and effectiveness of different OAD therapies. This research carries out Pharmacoeconomic evaluations of commonly used OAD, providing scientific bases for cost effective use of drugs for decision-making process in both insurance policy setting and clinical practices.
